Everywhere you look, you’ll see improvements to the 2026 Honda Pioneer 1000 Deluxe. Throttle by wire enables new drive modes, smoother shifting, better throttle response, a variable speed limiter, cruise control, and a speed-limiter key. Add new Honda Pro-Connect mounting points in the bed, more underseat storage, improved Electric Power Steering, and serious work-ready capability, and this Pioneer is built to handle demanding jobs and off-road adventures. This Hero Red unit also comes equipped with a roof, flip-out windshield, and wheel and tire package for added protection, versatility, and an upgraded off-road stance.

• The new throttle-by-wire (TBW) system enables a host of improvements, including smoother shifting, better throttle response, selectable drive modes, and advanced vehicle speed controls.

• Beefy tires, long-travel independent front and rear suspension, and a sophisticated driveline provide excellent handling and comfort.

Independent Front and Rear Suspension

• Dual A-arm suspension provides 10.6 inches of front travel and 10 inches in the rear. Combined with ample ground clearance, it delivers excellent traction and comfort.

Improved Electric Power Steering

• The Electric Power Steering (EPS) motor has 50 percent more torque and is tuned to improve driver comfort, especially when carrying passengers and cargo. It also provides more consistent steering effort over rocky terrain and through deep mud.

Four-Wheel Disc Brakes

• High-quality four-wheel disc brakes are designed to provide consistent and confident stopping performance, even in debris-heavy environments.

Sophisticated Chassis

Fully Automatic Six-Speed DCT

• Honda’s six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) gives you the choice of manual or fully automatic operation. Tow/Haul mode and selectable 2WD, 4WD, Differential Lock, and Turf settings provide additional versatility.

Selectable Drive Modes

• Four selectable drive modes—Comfort, Normal, Sport, and Tow/Haul—allow you to fine-tune power delivery, shift points, and acceleration for different working and riding conditions.

Advanced Transmission Logic

• The DCT’s Advanced Transmission Logic adapts to your driving style. Relaxed driving produces earlier shifts for quieter operation, while sportier driving holds each gear longer for higher-rpm shifts. You also get true engine braking when traveling downhill.

Vehicle Speed Controls

• Throttle by wire enables cruise control, a variable speed limiter, and a speed-limiter key. Cruise control is ideal for traveling between fields, while the variable limiter is useful for spraying, mowing, and spreading. The speed-limiter key keeps the vehicle under 25 mph for employees or less-experienced operators.

Paddle Shifting

• Steering-column-mounted paddle shifters let you manually shift without taking your hands off the wheel. In Automatic mode, they can also be used to override the current gear with a quick upshift or downshift.

Turf / 2WD / 4WD / Differential Lock

• Select Turf Mode when protecting sensitive surfaces, switch to 4WD when additional traction is needed, or lock the differentials when maximum four-wheel traction is required—all through a convenient single lever.

High/Low Subtransmission

• A 42-percent gear reduction between High and Low provides the necessary torque through all six gears when tackling difficult terrain, steep hills, or heavy towing.

• The cargo bed offers up to a half-ton of hauling capacity, while a hydraulic-assist tilt mechanism makes dumping cargo easier.
